A
new clan system will be introduced to Killzone: Shadow Fall in early
February with the arrival of patch 1.09, Guerrilla has announced.
The system will let players display clan tags alongside player names during multiplayer matches and manage clans via the Killzone website, including the ability to add and remove members and promote members to 'clan officers'.
While initial clan support will be relatively basic, Guerrilla promises to expand upon the functionality via future updates, as well as release additional free maps and premium expansion packs.
"We truly appreciate the passion you've demonstrated in helping Killzone Shadow Fall become the best it can be, and we apologize for the time it's taking to implement our full vision for the clan system," said Guerrilla.
